Beautiful campground. Awesome location right on top of the mesa with amazing views. The monument staff are friendly and there’s a lot to do around. Clean bathrooms and abundant potable water. Might not be the best choice for larger tents (6+ person tents), but for smaller ones works great. Lots of juniper and sagebrush for privacy and a natural feel.

The campsites here are decently sized and include a picnic table and a charcoal grill. Fires aside from the grill and camp stoves are not permitted. There are spickets for drinking water and restrooms with flush toilets. They are spaced in good locations, so no matter where your camp site is, you can get to them pretty fast. There were plenty of camp sites left when we got there and walk ins are allowed. There are some short hikes and the visitor center nearby as well.

It had some bugs only for a short while. The campsites were dusty. BUT the restrooms were clean, the water potable, and the view from loop C incredible!

Tight camp spaces but amazing view over Grand Junction and Fruita, Colorado. Flush toilets and very clean facilities.

$22/night to camp.
No, there is not one. The Fruita Welcome Center has a couple as well as fresh water...great location right by the freeway
Ask at the Rangers station when you pay.
It's $22 a night. I believe you can reserve online. https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/234778
I don't believe you can. We've stayed here twice and have never seen horse trailers or horses around.
McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area is BLM land. There are places to camp there. If you are tent camping and have a vehicle you that can take on the jeep trails, enter on the back roads from the south. Go through Colorado National Monument and get off Rim Rock Drive at N. 16 1/2 Road to get over to that side.
