Just spent 4 wonderful nights in this lovely campground. Ponderosas everywhere! The owners are very kind and helpful and the fishing was fantastic. Plenty of space between sites. Lots of birds and butterflies, also, it’s a quiet place. Be aware, Wi-Fi is a little spotty, and no electric heaters or A/C allowed. We were comfy cozy with our propane heater in our trailer in May, no A/C was needed. We’ve already made reservations to go back this summer!

This campground was an absolute gem!! The peaceful river, spacious sites, and super friendly staff made our experience so nice! Not a bad site in the campground. Family and pet friendly. Enjoy large groups or couples solitude…. Ponderosa has it all. Clean showers and laundry facilities too. Will be back next year!!!

Overall, not very impressed. Just spent 6 nights there. Having hookups was nice, but had to buy an extra sewage hose (already had 2) because of the strange location of the sewage connection for my site. Also kinda weird that they ask you not to run your AC. ??? I didn’t need to, but..... Fishing was decent in the property’s portion of the river, but, can be somewhat limited depending on the number of fishers. You are limited by private property both up and down steam. The lady at the check in window (possibly the owner) came across as grumpy. Kinda like she didn’t want to be there. Friendly greeting and customer service was lacking. Did not feel welcome. I agree with a previous comment that it had a retirement community feel to it. Lastly, and probably the biggest deal breaker, you can’t leave your dog in your RV and leave. Yes, you read that correctly. You can’t leave YOUR DOG IN YOUR OWN RESIDENCE. I don’t know about most of you, but going fly fishing with your dog in a non-starter.
