I was so excited to move here with my husband and two children. It resulted in disaster and I do not recommend living here. They are a property management company so I called to have the maintenance person remove the sleeve in my living room wall and put my personal air conditioner into the sleeve (as they requested). That way I could have air conditioning in my apartment. I called on Thursday and Friday and the office manager said she will inform the maintenance man. No one ever came. Their office is closed on Saturday and Sunday. It was 102 degrees out that weekend and I was living on the third flood with a 2 year old and a 2 month old. Needless to say we were living in an oven. I decided I did not want to wait until Monday for a maintenance person to not show up again. So I put the A/C into the sleeve myself. Come Monday morning I find an eviction letter taped to my door. I had violated their rules by placing the A/C into the sleeve myself. I made several attempts to discuss this matter with them, but they took me to court for minor nicks on the fridge and a popped out window screen and installing my own A/C. I had only lived their 2 months total, had to go to court, and had to pay several fines. They were not willing to work with me. What would you do if you have a 2 year old and a 2 month old and your apartment is 102 degrees? Would you install your A/C if the property manager or maintenance person doesn't show up? It was a terribly frustrating experience especially since I was excited to move there. I highly do NOT recommend living here. Side Note: The hallway smells like cat urine and the other kids living in the apartment building stole change out of my car.

Pssshhh. Just a fyi to ppl reading management reviews... You don't have to publicly share your real name to leave a review, nor do you have to be on a lease to views someone's home. These are still all valid.

They are only open Mondays and Friday's right now...
Yes, it is SOMEWHAT based on income. However it falls into certain categories. Like for example, if you have section 8, you would pay that amount. If you qualify for their low income program then you would pay thaat set amount also depending upon how many people are living with you, how many adults in the household have a job, etc. And then there's the people who make too much money to be accepted in at all. HOWEVER. Sometimes they will still allow those people who make "too much money " to live here anyways, But just at a higher monthly rent. It really ALL depends on your entire situation. Also. Rent goes up everyyy singleee year! No matter what it goes up.by $20 dollars or $50 dollars due the "higher economic cost, at least that's what they say every year!
Not bad but the front office is so unprofessional and rude and the maintenance isn't any better
Call families in transition 641-9441 ext 257. There is a wait list, not really a set time. It all depends when people move out. Just get on the list and if your circumstances change when your time comes, just say you're all set. They also have a few shelters, FAMILY shelters. You have your own room and you can stay there. Not like the ones where you have to be in and out at a certain time.
