I stayed located on my travels and ate breakfast, and dinner only travels here. 4.9 is closer to 5, so 5 stars from me. The pizza burger was a bit too wet and loose, but tasted great, and was easier to eat with a knife and fork. The haddock chowder was great. I ordered the large, but as everything arrived I saw the size of everything. I tried to eat it all but could not, as I didn't want to be rude by not finishing my food. A big lunch would have only been the bowl of soup. Breakfast was good, and the only complaint is when I didn't ask for my eggs in a separate plate like I normally do.But the eggs, potatoes, toast and bacon were all perfect aside from that.

Hearty and delicious portions. Wonderful service. Thanks to the waiter that suggested I not order lobster because he refused to serve frozen. Amen Brother

On March 4, 2022 we ate at Wickachee Restaurant in Calais. As with all our previous meals there everything was delicious and the service was geat! The owner/waiter as always is a delight! The haddock was perfectly cooked, the fries crispy, the wheat rolls fresh and delicious. We all were too full to try any dessert, but there were many choices. This is a great place to eat. We may try breakfast there on our next visit.

Laughed the whole time we were there. The 'chef' was rolling silverware, feeding the fire, and waiting tables. Menu was random along with the 5 minute monolog of daily specials. Strangest setup I have seen in years.
