About 10 years ago, I went to a D'Angelos in OH and thought the bread was too dense and never went back again. Today, I figured I'd give them another try, in Concord. To my surprise, the bread was comparatively light and pleasant. I ordered a medium Italian sub, toasted. It was good; I could taste the extra virgin olive oil that was used. The sub was reasonably priced at about 10 bucks. When I asked for a cup for water, I was told that they didn't have anything like that but they had a fridge with drinks in it. I picked out an unsweetened ice tea, probably 12 or 16 oz. It rung up to over 4 dollars. That kind of price was an unexpected and unwelcome surprise. I felt also as egregious a price gouge as what you'd find in a movie theater.

I've ordered subs from this place multiple times and never get exactly what I ordered. They either don't put an item on the sandwich I asked for or put an item I didn't ask for on it. The quality of the food isn't terrible, but having to reorder my sandwich every single time I've gone is just too much of a hassle so I don't go to D'angelo anymore. Such ashame.

Paid 20 dollars for a Lobster sandwich. I had never eaten lobster before and was quite excited to finally try it, and to be frank it would not have been difficult to satiate my curiosity. I'm aware that lobster is a delicacy and that fast food typically does not appear 1:1 with their advertisements, but in my opinion the food I received was more than bordering on false advertisement. There was about 3 pieces, maybe an ounce or less, of lobster and some lettuce (honestly even the lettuce was sparse) on what tasted like a stale white sub roll. I normally am not passionate enough to leave reviews especially on fast food restaurants, but in my opinion the deficit was egregious. I may as well just go to subway next time as I would be saving 75% and getting a better quality product.
