Family was there last week and had a fantastic time! Walt was our guide and was great. The scenery is awesome and the tour really fun. Will hopefully be back this summer for horseback riding and next year for more snowmobiling!

Amazing experience both snowmobiling and dog sledding! Very informative from the moment we were picked up at our resort to the time we were dropped off. Every guide we had throughout the day did an awesome job. Started with the 2hr snowmobiling and finished with dog sledding. Highly recommended if you have the opportunity.

This was our third snowmobile tour in the Park City area and our first with North Forty Escapes, but I have a feeling it won't be our last. The trip was so much fun and the scenery was amazingly beautiful. We were originally scheduled for Christmas Eve but due to an incoming big storm we were lucky enough to be able to reschedule for later in the week after Christmas. They were very friendly about helping us make our travel plan changes. The drive out to the ranch is beautiful, although if you are an out-of-towner with a basic rental car I would highly recommend parking right at the entrance to their property and not trying to go down the driveway as it's covered in snow and your little two-wheel drive rental car probably will get stuck. We have a two-wheel drive car with no tires and we had trouble getting all the way into the main parking area but luckily we had no trouble getting back out. It pays to be extra safe and just park on the main road and walk down the rest of the way. Definitely plan to get there at least 30 minutes early, giving yourself time to change into your snow gear. Their Lodge is small and because of the overlap in different tours , there are a lot of people inside at the same time and with only two bathrooms it takes a while to take care of that plus finding your helmet, signing the waivers and such. I wish they had a little more organization inside because it was a little frantic. You had one tour coming in and unloading their stuff while another group is trying to get ready for their tour, and most people don't know how to properly size helmets so it would have been nice to have a little more help in a little more space to maneuver. Once you got outside to the sleds the guys were extremely helpful, and fun to be around. They went through all the safety speeches and got everyone onto their sleds quickly and then the tour began. There property is beautiful, you travel passed a couple Mountain Cabins and then you are truly in the wilderness with nothing around. The views at some of the spots are incredible looking back down the valley towards Park City. At the top they have a wide-open meadow where you can open up your sled and speed around doing laps oh, well the guides offered to take the kids through the trees and the fresh powder so you don't have to worry about wrecking your sled and having to pay for repairs. Unfortunately our sled busted on the way up the mountain, and because you are single file and we were the last sled in our group we watched helplessly as the rest of our group continued up the mountain and we were dead in the water. Thankfully the guides are always Vigilant and both the guide coming up behind us and our guide who had gone ahead came back to help us, they had spare parts and in less than 10 minutes had replaced the engine belt and we were back up and running. All in all it was an amazing tour and well worth the money. If you have kids the two-hour tour is a perfect length of time. Definitely bundle up because in that part of the country the temperatures are in the single digits during the day so wear warm socks and several layers. I can't wait to go back, and I'm sure we will be doing another tour with these guys again! Highly recommended!

Reserved the last three snowmobiles for a Christmas Eve 11am 2hr tour with North Forty Escapes. The whole family loved it. What a variety of terrain on this massive, backcountry playground. Our guide Wade did a great job and was very patient. An overnight snow added about 12" to the already deep snow; we stuck every snowmobile at least once it was so deep. We had an Amazing time..would love to return again!
