Easy peasy. Check out the picture I posted of a cell tower on the property and look at the small car sized BALD EAGLE nest on top! What better way to be greeted at the border than to see a badass eagle! Made me want to stand and sing the national anthem!

Crossed on 10 July from Canada with my family for work. The US Customs agents we interacted with were respectful, professional, and efficient. Certainly one of my best interactions at a border crossing even with the current restrictions in place. (for those wondering, no COVID test was required to cross)

For people coming for Global Entry interview, don't worry about the bad reviews. The officers on the Global Entry side of things were super nice and I was done in 10 minutes. The officer was genuinely amused by how to pronounce my name and kept calling me "Sir" to not get my name wrong. All of this in a friendly way. Gave me a nice handshake at the end. I won't meting his name for privacy reasons.

I’m using the ArriveCAN online and I don’t see calis listed as a crossing… how do I know what to pick?

Lori Olson Menichetti | Aug 25, 2022

Calais is in Maine. Which is part of the United States of America. This ArriveCAN App you speak of is a Canadian Proprietary System. In having said all that, try your luck at St. Stephen New Brunswick Canada. Specifically, "Ferry Point" or "3rd Bridge." Good Luck.

If I am travelling with my children aged 16 and 14 and they have not received their passport renewals, can they enter the USA with their birth certificate? I will have my wife/their mother with me as well?

Greg Grant | Jul 28, 2022
Cyndle Wilson | Jul 30, 2022

If you have the receipts showing you have paid for the renewals, you should be able to cross. It's honestly up to the discretion of the border agent. My advice would be to call ahead to the border and explain your issue to them.

so my flight from Bangor will arrive around midnight on July 3, so basically July 4 is a holiday for US, do you think I will get stranded for a while as I need to drive back to Saint John. maybe timings will differ? Thanks

There are no COVID restrictions for US citizens entering the US (as far as customs is concerned). So if you have a valid passport/card you should be good.
