A nice leisurely trail which is good for all types of walkers and dogs.

Nice easy walk, but trails ready for a little grooming to remove dead falls and encroaching brush.

You will park at the Farmington safety building. The beginning of the trail is near the road. There are a lot of little hiker signs along the walk to keep you on track. You can stop off at a couple "attraction" spots on your walk. The trail is a loop. I would probably estimate 1.3 or so miles. There are some really beautiful huge trees along the way and a pond/body of water as well. This would most definitely be a great place to bring young kids or if you had a minimal amount of time and wanted to squeeze in a quick "nature therapy" session- as it is not difficult but rather sweet and to the point. I am glad there is a nice little trail in Farmington now.

Idk the elevation but the trail has little to no incline or decline, its a very short hike but a nice eagles nest out on a tree top im the middle of the pond.

Can we swim there?
