Back in 2004/2005 I found out about this place I was fixing the owners hot tub. It was getting late. Got out of his house about 7ish I wanna say. I was hungry for dinner. He told me he had this deli/store just a few blocks away and I should visit because it's really good food. He didn't exaggerate. I just moved back to Florida about an hour north. I came to visit friends in Pinellas County. They wanted to take me out in St Pete. I said no thanks. I wanna go to the best place to get a hot meal that I ever had in the Tampa Bay area. Healthy homemade type food. . So I left and headed str8 to the Interbay Meat Market. When you first walk in you can see it's so clean in there it's like hospital clean. Makes you feel at home. They have hot fresh meals for very reasonable prices. Excellent sandwiches, meats and chicken ect. What you remember also is the big smiles on "all" of the employee's faces. You can tell they are "happy" at their jobs. It makes your visit that much better. It's rare nowadays and greatly appreciated. This time I got the sirloin with peppers and onions. Mac & cheese and brussel sprouts. I read it off the menu board 8.99 with 2 sides. The guy serving was really friendly. I told him about how I first found them ect. When I got to the front where they put the food on. I hesitated as the sirloin looked like ground beef. I didn't have my glasses on. I almost changed my mind. Glad I didn't. It was sooooo good. Tender and tasty. Mac & cheese is exactly how Mom used to make it. The brussel sprouts were excellent. I'm not sure how they cook it spices ect but omgosh. Every time I'm in town I will definitely go out of my way to come here again & again. As you can see I finished everything on the plate. MMMMmmmm !!! The only problem I have with this place is they need to open more markets!! Come to Leesburg. We need you badly. lol Don't change anything. Still rocking after all this time.

I had a good experience with this store until today. I bought zucchini & the cashier, a woman with long curly dark hair, doesn't know how to read the scale. When I pointed out to her that the 3 point something on the machine shows the total weight of the zucchini, not the price per pound, she became very rude, argued with me, and called me funny. When I asked for a manager, she said there is no manager on duty on Sundays. When I asked her name, she said it's Jessica. 2 stars because otherwise it's a good store with good deli. To the owner/elusive manager, please put competent & courteous workers to provide customer service, including on Sundays.

Super selection of sandwiches made to order. Quick service and great for a delicious lunch. Hot or cold sandwiches, potato salad, Cole slaw, spicy fries, chicken nuggets, burgers, fried plantains 🙂, mac-n-cheese, salads galore, and more! Friendly and helpful service. Lots of parking and covered outdoor mini-picnic benches to enjoy your meal. Wide variety of sodas, beer, and wine for take home. Reasonable prices! 🥪🥯🥙🍔🍟

Went here many many times, never been disappointed. Always great food. Locally owned, owner is there a good portion of the time. Employees almost always in a good mood and eager to help. Catering is excellent and prices are great. This is a Tampa staple.
