Epworth Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center

My mother, Victoria Treece, was a resident of the 4th floor. When the doctors at the hospital could do nothing more to treat her cancer she was taken to Epworth to have a comfortable place to spend the rest of her life. Megan from the office was fantastic. Her job was to help us with the financial end but she did so much more and actually cared for my mother. The nurses of the fourth floor were wonderful and my mother loved them. Rhonda, in particular was a godsend. I can't remember his name, but my mother loved the tall sassy guy as well. She kept saying "oh he's so nice to me and he would joke and say "don't tell the other nurses." These are two examples but her positive experience was not limited to these two people. They are just the two that I interacted with the most. I genuinely hope that the staff gets to see this and understand what a difference they make in people's lives. To the nurses that were there on the night of her passing: I couldn't have been happier with how much you fussed over her to make sure that she was comfortable and how much you fussed over me to make sure that I was comfortable. Your job is more difficult than anything that I could ever do and you are some of the strongest people that I know. You work long hours, you exhaust yourself, you receive constant complaints about things that are beyond your control, and nobody ever does anything nice for you. I appreciate you all.

Wow I can see Epworth manor only a two star. What ashame I can remember we use to be a five star they need to clean house bc that's bad!!

Not all that great. My Dad was here for a month, the food was meh at best and inedible at worst. The staff was less than organized and he missed several appointments because of it. They failed to give regular updates especially regarding how long insurance would cover his stay. I'm sure his personal complaints are even worse than mine.

If you love someone DO NOT let them in this place it is the worst place for any loved one to be. This place only wants one thing $$$$$$$. They dont care about your loved one. If u fight to get someone out of there they put a road block up everyway they can........
