We rented four of the modern family cabins for a week for an extended family vacation. It was our third PA State park we have done this in ... and was a great experience. After spending a week at Black Moshanon and Ricketts Glen in past years, I must say this was our favorite. The park is kept in better shape than the other parks (though none are bad) and the grounds crew must be complimented. There's also a few extra amenities that were nice .. at the lake / beach area you can "check out" things like sports gear, corn hole, etc by just giving them your license. The snack stand was top notch and the bath and restroom area were very spacious and clean. The cabins were great as always and have the standard two room setup (one full and the other room has two bunk beds) that all state parks have. It's so nice to have the open floorplan with couch and two chairs next to the full kitchen area and dining room table that seats 6. The kitchen is great with a microwave and full oven and range .. as well as a full size refrigerator. We cooked all our meals and everything worked great. You'll have to bring everything .. cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc, but it's well worth it. The cabins are all semi private and spaced at a nice distance from each other. With renting 4 of them, we were able to have our own space .. but could easily walk to each other's cabins and the kids floated between them all with ease. The beach area and boat launch area are within walking distance of the cabins .. but it's a little hike. We decided to drive down to bring all our stuff easily. We will definitely be back in the future.

My girlfriend, dog, and I love to visit keystone through our the year. It's a great place to spend a warm summer day. We often walk the trails and around the lake which is always a pleasant walk. We also started recently biking around the park which adds another level of fun to our trip. We love to take our dog to get some exercise and swim in the lake. Dogs are not permitted in the designated swim zone/beach area however they are permitted in the boat launch. He always enjoys his time there.

My family and I absolutely love Keystone and have been visiting the park to swim, camp, and hike since the early 90s. We decided to spend this Mothers Day at the lake in memory of our late mother who passed away in 2020. Keystone truly was her favorite place to visit. We had a great time showing our kids all of the fun places we used to hike to when we were kids. They thoroughly enjoyed fishing, playing on the dock and taking a little boat ride around the lake. We can't wait until the weather warms up so we can come up to swim for the day!

Hello, Keystone State Park us a really wonderful place to go to get away from everything!! We stayed at one of the family cabins.. These cabins are well built and come with everything you would need for a nice family getaway. Ours slept 6, and has running water , shower, toilet, large living room area, stove , microwave, sink, refrigerator, furniture... Bedrooms are one master bedroom and a two bunk bedroom that sleeps four... It is well lit , lots of windows for air circulation.. very woodsy, with charcoal grill and a fire ring!! Nice yard for kids to play in.. For fishing the lake is right below the cabin area ! We were there during the end of the remnants of the hurricane system... Just nice to listen to the rain and relax.... Cabins are also in use all year round , too !! God Bless, Keith

Been there years ago with my family, now we have been going back, the kids love it, no admission, easy parking, plenty of space, family oriented, clean bathrooms, snack stand, but welcome to take your own, & you can grill there also😌
Yes pets are allowed. No fee to pitch a tent i dont think. You can rent cabins. And pavilions. I would suggest calling them ahead of time. Have fun
They have bass, walleye, panfish, seen pics of tiger musky as well. Fishangler is a great app to help
Not really. You can have privacy. Sites are laid out nicely, they could have better grades not as flat as needed for big mh. It is our go to park when visiting Pittsburgh.
The park is free. There is a place to rent canoes and kayaks. To rent lodging (tents, RV, cabins, yurts, etc.) go here: https://www.dcnr.pa.gov/StateParks/StateParkPrices/CabinsandLodging/Pages/default.aspx
The beach is open until sunset on Labor Day and then will close for the season. Please call the park office with any additional questions. 724 668 2939.
