Nice little beachy strip of sand for swimming, kayak and canoe rentals, PERFECT CAMPING SPOT!!! The set up is one of the best I have seen for tenters. Fire rings are very nice and the whole spot set up in general is perfect and semi private. Very nice park for kids to play, volley ball court and they also have bathrooms (take hand sanitizer!!!). I definitely recommend this place to any family looking for a place to get away for the day or even for the weekend.

I Love camping at Loyalhanna!! It's quite peaceful, the Rangers are helpful, lots of birds and wildlife. Watched the Eagles fish every morning!

Reserved a “primitive campsite” for tent camping. It was a gravel pad with some trees around it. Who wants to pitch their tent on that?? Each campsite was maybe 10 feet from the next. The only positive was the bathrooms, which were relatively clean and well stocked.

Very small campground but quiet. Great place to kayak.
