I have been to Walnut Grill after making reservations well in advance twice for holidays (Thanksgiving 2021, and Father's Day 2022) and both times, we were seated but it took the waiter nearly 15 minutes to greet the table and take beverage requests. After placing food orders (many of the menu items for the holiday were not available) and both times it took nearly 45 minutes for the food to arrive after placing an order. The staff did not make a typical return to the table to check on everything and paying the check took an uncomfortable 20 minutes after we were clearly done with meals and waiting on the staff to return. I would like to say that I would give Walnut Grill another chance, but so far it seems that if the quality of service is that bad on a special occasion, I cannot imagine how much worse it could be when they do not have a number of reservations to plan to provide service for. The only thing I can say that was good about both times was that the food that we were able to order tasted good and we enjoyed it even though our preferred menu requests were sold out on Thanksgiving.

I hosted retirement dinner my experience was awesome! Erica and Jodie made sure every detail was spot on. They helped me plan the event with ever changing details ,they are very patient. Offered great advice to make everything seamless. The buffet fresh, hot and plenty of food nice variety. Drew and Amanda our servers at our beckon call, with smiles on the entire time. Loved the upbeat decor of our party room. All their hard work so appreciated.

We ordered the Easter Dinner to go and it was perfect! Everything was so delicious and the portions were generous. Easy to follow cooking instructions were included and if I had known Easter could be this easy, I would’ve ordered in years past (and definitely will again!). Thank you, Walnut Grill! You guys ROCK.

Food was atrocious. Loaded tots were burnt and tasted horrible and then we found a hair in it, but the worst was my wild mushroom chicken. 3 small pieces of chicken, and cold cream of mushroom soup on the top! It was cold and lumpy.. Meaning it was spooned out of a can of cream of mushroom soup and the cook wasn't even smart enough to put it in the microwave... It was terrible..... I sent both the tots and the main dish back. I eat out over 300 times a year, never have I ever had to send two dishes back in the same meal.

We follow all Covid safety procedures. Masks need to be worn when entering the building and moving through out the restaurant. They may be removed when you are seated. Tables are socially distanced. Hand sanitizer stations are located through out the restaurant. All door handles are wiped down every 20 min and there are foot pulls on the restroom doors so you do not need to use your hands. There is no bar seating or service over the bar top allowed at this time. And you have to order food to be able to drink. I hope this answers your question! Thank you!
Hello Daryl, Unfortunately, you cannot pay with a gift card when you do an on line order because it's through a 3rd party. You can use your gift card when you call in for a take out. Thank you
