Shelter area is nice for reunions and other get togethers. Had our 50th class reunion there. Spacious park with nice walking path. Music in the park on occasions. Real asset to the area.

On a last minute idea I took the grandkids on a Saturday night when they had a band playing. The boys played and I was able to sit and relax and listen to music! Was a nice evening.

Good place to go for a walk! I can walk around the track while my youngest rides his bike or scooter around with me.  Then I can give him a chance to play on the playground after I get my walk done so we are both happy! It would be nice to have a few more things for the older kids to play on though.
