My family has been here for a bit. Some of the staff are great, others are terrible and shouldn’t be working with a vulnerable population. The food is sometimes ok but often inedible, we had moldy bagels put out for breakfast yesterday. Today there was nothing at all. It’s unfortunate because we don’t really have our own kitchen to utilize so there’s not much we can do on days like that. The staff doesn’t protect residents from abuse from other residents, even though there is a code of conduct we’re supposed to follow. They do protect their own, I watched them kick someone out onto the street a few weeks ago, I don’t know why but I had seen a staff person bullying him the night before for standing near her car during a fire alarm. Homeless people aren’t animals. We all deserve better than what Joseph’s House offers.

This place is a joke. No privacy, staff don't care about there jobs only there pay checks. Security for the family area is horrible. Twice a drunk lady from the single person's living area was able to get in the family area without any one aware of her being there. This place is scary for families with kids.

Good homeless shelter but if you have an income they will ask you to help pay your expenses as well as make you go to DSS to apply for services and have DSS pay for your stay as well. They often have great donated pizza from local restaurants so the food is good. They staff will do what they can for you especially if they see that you are trying & not making your own drama.

I cook weekend meals here via donations from my church with my scouts four times a year! We all should assist the homeless😇.

I dropped off a few packs of hats and gloves and about 5 jackets in the early winter and they were very grateful. So, I would say yes! If they already have too many Unity House is also always willing to take donations.
Yes they have an elevator and are accessible.
No.
I'm not sure if they do.
Yes we are
I'm unsure if that's ok cause curfew is before 11 so you may be pushing ya luck
YESSSSS!!!!! just call a few day ahead and you will be connected to the right person. Thank you
