Thank you to all at White Sands for helping me get clean. I couldn't do it alone. Today I cant be grateful enough. Service of those who came before me is the foundation of my recovery and as I grow through this new way of life, clean, my story can help others. White Sands is a major part in the making of miracles and I am humbled to say that I am one of the many miracles born of their program and facilities. The staff is diligent as well as compassionate. It’s not easy to go outside of the comforting familiar environment of my own home. From the moment I met the BHT who collected me from the airport up to this moment, I’ve felt and been safe. The care I received is second to none. Thank you to all at White Sands for your service.

I came to White Sands 30 days ago today. I had been At another facility and taken to a place where I was terrified. Till I spoke to someone at White Sands over the phone’s at the facility I was at I was more hopeful. My Mom was upset with that place I was in as was White Sands who both had been constantly contacting them to get me released and transferred. White Sands put me and my family at ease saying they would pick me up at anytime. Everyone who I spoke with knew my situation and was very helpful. When I was finally picked up by Isrial in a comfortable suv he provided a mask and a charger for my cell phone. I felt my stress melting away as we headed to white sands listening to music and chatting. At white Sands I have never felt like a patient but have felt like I’m part of a family. I found friendships with everyone, employees, current and new patients and even the boxers at this amazing gym. Your food and phone are hand delivered to you. Multiple cafés everywhere. Karaoke, bingo, volleyball and crafting with all the supplies. So many gifts and things available for you so you are never bored and you are never without something to do. All the meetings I don’t have one single bad thing to say except I love White Sands. Writing this in fact is so hard because it makes me want to never leave. In fact, I asked for an extension was granted it and will be continuing on to their IOP

The staff here is knowledgeable and helped me every step of the way. My health and my wellness were always their top priority. The facility is beyond words. I had my own room, I could use my cell phone at night,the gym is state of the art and the pool is relaxing/peaceful. The food is great with many healthy options. I will never forget my experience here. I have my family back and most importantly my life back thanks to white sands.
