Best course around the waukesha area. Through the woods and somewhat short but very fun play.

The disc golf course is all easy enough par 3s for a beginner to get started but challenging enough for everyone to play at. There are videos out there of pros failing to ace a single hole. The only issue I have after playing the course 14 years ago and restarting now is that groundskeeping seems to find disc golf players a nuisance. The groundskeeper AFN-4143 in the Cadillac chose to swerve over my disc. It was a high quality disc so it's fine but it was awkward to watch. The course is well maintained? so I found it kind of awkward but would highly recommend this course to beginners and pros alike.

This is a fun course to play. It is also the closest course from home so I am here often. VV is a good course for beginners as it has a variety of hole lengths but is also challenging enough to bring the avid disc golfer back for more. The signage at the tee pads, assuming there is any, is old and could use updating if there were sponsors or some form of money brought in. Despite the lack of signs, moving through the course is fairly straight forward with the exception of going from 9-10 and 15-16 for first time users. The course upkeep is heavily reliant on fellow volunteer discers and keeping it clean is everyone's responsibility. The course layout starts out on a hill leading down into the valley where you will circle around a swampy marshland. As you head back up the hill towards the parking lot, you will finish the last three holes on top. Course is open all year round and the layout changes slightly in the winter. There are concrete pads that offer short runways but are still in good condition. In the last few years, the baskets have been updated. Alternate pin placements offer new looks to some of the holes despite how rarely the baskets are moved. Some fairways can also get very wet depending on the time of year or after heavy rains. Tall grasses by midsummer make the course slightly harder to find your discs but not impossible. If you come a long way to play, get two rounds in to make it worthwhile. Keep in mind, this is a very popular course and can get very busy with some backup on particular holes. Single player time without any one in the way can take 40-50 minutes at a decent pace. I highly recommend playing here if you are in the area.
