Our dog, Finn, was diagnosed with a UTI. She was prescribed medications, and we were given a tray to catch her urine after completing the antibiotics so her urine could be tested to ensure the infection was gone. I was told I could drop the urine off and they'd call with the results. I decided to stay and wait on the results in case Finn needed additional medications. After paying $1,186 for the initial visit they charged me an additional $45.00 for the urine test. It had been previously explained to me that the urine test was included in the $1,186 dollars I already paid. The office staff was cold and rude, and appeared to hate animals and their job. I tried to ask why I was being double charged, but she only screamed and berated me. It was humiliating since others were in line behind me. If there are additional charges, it should be fully explained to people before the service is rendered. I only went back, because I was told the urine analysis was a part of Finn's original treatment. I felt the staff had been dishonest and I had been robbed during a vulnerable moment when my dear pet was sick. My overall impression was they only cared about the money. I'm looking for a honest vet who loves their patients.

Dr. Salzburg and Dr. Barnes and their staff are very caring, personable yet professional. We fully trust the care the veterinarians and their staff provide to our dog. Recently, our dog was in a dog fight and was bites badly. She ended up needing surgery after a week and Dr. Barnes did an amazing job. We highly recommend Salzburg Animal Hospital! Your pet will be in great hands at this practice!

My sweet dragon, Savannah, had told me that she was ready to cross the rainbow bridge. I called every place I could about reptile euthanasia, and nowhere would allow me to be with her while she passed. This place was a god send, the first time I called I was informed they only offer euthanasia to existing clients. When I called again not 30 seconds later and explained her situation, they made some room just for us to say our farewells together. I cannot thank them enough for allowing me to see my love to her next stage.
