Stop by from time to time. Always a good value on great tasting food. Car hops are always very friendly. Last time there, I got a triple decker club. Was shocked to see how big it was. I could only eat half. Tasty bacon in every bite! The draft root beer is the best.

Waited for about 15-20 minutes no one came to our car to see if we needed a menu, or anything. Came to the cars that got there after me and helped them out but didn't even acknowledge me. I have worked in the food business, and ran kitchens and still acknowledged customers when over busy.

While visiting the Dayton Ohio area we stopped at the Root Beer Stande. I saw that it was the Retro Old Fashioned Curb Service and it was Hot Dogs and Root Beer what a wonderful Nostalgic foodie adventure. We pulled in and the waitress was there "Toot-sweet". I ordered 2 Hot Dogs with Chili, Mustard and Onions. They do not put Cole Slaw on the Dogs here I also ordered a large Root Beer, which I was hoping was HOMEMADE but not..Tony had his own Beverage of Choice in the car already. The food was good! The Chili or sauce on the dog was very good but the onions were strong from being a little old maybe a day or so. But I would eat here again, strong onions don't keep me away!!! I recommend this nice little Mom and Pop Retro Foodie Adventure!!!

I was very disappointed in my first experience with The Root Beer Stande. I ordered the "Dirty D" which was ok. The presentation wasn't the best but, I will give it a pass. The bacon supreme was a big let down. I was expecting the big beautiful hand made patties that are advertised on FB, Doordash, and their very own website. Instead, I was served 2 frozen patties.😔. The highlight and the reason for the 2 stars is the beer cheese. It is absolutely amazing and a definite must try. If I decide to go again, it will be for the beer cheese. Reply to owner: Thank you for the explanation of the burgers. I will definitely come back and give it another try. I really loved the beer cheese and onion rings.
