Excellent care for both of our dogs. Very clean and friendly place. My senior dog has never once walked into a vet's office willingly. 75lbs and she always had to be carried into the office while fighting it the whole time. When we started going to Pine Ridge, a vet tech came out to the car and was able to walk my dog into the office without a struggle. I was amazed. We are currently battling an ear infection and each office visit requires a painful swab of my dog's ear and despite that, every time we go to the office my old lady dog is eager to get inside. She loves the staff, she loves Dr. Forrest. Pricing is very reasonable and the quality of care is outstanding. Years ago I used this office for my other dog (who is long gone now) and I honestly don't recall why we stopped going there but last year my son's dog needed a checkup and he wasn't happy with the care she was getting at another office so we switched back. I am so glad we did. I would recommend Pine Ridge Pet Clinic to anyone looking for high quality care for their pet.

I'm going to preface this by saying that my dogs are my babies & I am a diligent dog mom with high expectations. I was looking for someplace new for my 2 dogs. I heard great things about Pine Ridge, particularly Dr. Forrest. The 1st dog of mine to visit was Honey. We saw Dr. Gray & my initial impression was indifferent but I kept an open mind. Honey is a nervous dog & has severe generalized anxiety. She gets nervous being handled but has never been aggressive towards people. The vet & tech that handled Honey that day were visibly nervous about her body language & that made her more nervous. I understood that they have to keep their safety in mind & be careful to prevent dog bites. A month later Honey had a mass removal surgery. Dr. Forrest performed the surgery & they got us in same day. You can tell she really does care about the animals & does her best. Honeys surgery went well & she healed nicely. Not long after, my dog Cesar exhibited signs of an IBD flare up. They werent able to get him in to the office right away so I had to take him to the ER. I know all vet offices are short staffed & doing the best they can, so I understood. The next day Cesar was not any better. They offered for me to drop him off so the doctor could observe him. I appreciated them being flexible with me. A medical history was taken & current med list. Bloodwork was drawn & showed some levels were on the verge of being out of normal. I was told that his bw could be indicative of 3 things: chronic inflammation, infection or cancer. She stressed she was not telling me he had cancer but letting me know it was a possibility. Her 1st concern was to check for hypothyroidism. I agreed to do a thyroid panel. The estimate also recommended xrays, but unsure why, I declined. In the following days Cesars symptoms worsened. I called the clinic & they mentioned that if Cesar has hypothyroidism it could cause ME. I was told the way to diagnose that would be xrays. Im familiar with the disease & know that aspiration pneumonia is a concern with ME. I expressed that I wish they brought this up the last time he was seen as I would have done xrays that day. They asked if I could come in tomorrow & I told them no, it had to be today because AP is nothing to play around with. Fortunately the xrays came back normal but showed arthritis in his spine. The doctor prescribed Tramadol to see if that would help with his demeanor. I asked why they werent taking the same approach as the office who treated his last IBD flareup did (Famotidine & antibiotic). I was told that they assumed he was already on famotidine as its usually prescribed for life for IBD, which frustrated me because I gave them his med list & Famotidine was not on it. I was told that ABX were not warranted based on his bw, which did not show signs of infection. I reminded them they told me his bw could be a sign of infection, but was told that its indicative of chronic inflammation (not infection or cancer). I told the tech that made me angry because that contradicted what I was previously told. Cesar got worse, so I went to a different ER. The ER told me that Tramadol is not an eff. pain med for dogs & Famotidine is not used longterm in dogs as it loses its efficacy after a few weeks. She said Omeprazole was a better choice so Cesar was put on both temporarily. They prescribed Gabapentin for his pain. After finishing Famotidine & Omeprazole he was finally eating again. I could also tell his pain was well managed with the Gabapentin. I do not think that Pine Ridge or Dr. Forrest are intentionally being dishonest/negligent. I believe that she really does care & that they are doing the best they can for these dogs. I think that they are taking on more than they can handle & that they should stop taking new patients. They are spreading themselves too thin & are missing important things because they are rushing (eg. the Famotidine & mentioning the ME). I hope that things settle down for them so they can go back to giving the care that Ive always heard great things about.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this vet clinic! They were beyond amazing with our sweet girl Texy! And unfortunately she contracted parvovirus and every single one of the angels that work here were just phenomenal with her and did everything they possibly could to save her life! And they did! We couldn’t be more thankful to all of the angels there at Pine Ridge vet clinic. They are always so welcoming and genuinely care about your pets! They are also reasonably priced, and do not try to just overcharge you and get your money. All the doctors we have absolutely loved and would never go to a different pet clinic again. Highly recommend this pet clinic!

Not sure but I do know they can tell you who does. They are super nice and very informative
Saturdays are their busiest days with surgeries and emergencies. If there was a concern about your fur baby they would be calling you. Please be patient.
They are not a 24 hours clinic. They refer to Cassalbery ER in those cases. My dog was during the day in Pine Ridge and overnight in Cassalberry.
I live on ss also. I love them there. I am sure it would be affordable. Please call especially if the doggie is seeming ill.
They do
Depends on the service. Office visits are $40.00 baseline and then it depends on what else rhey do
Best to call them. The staff is great and very friendly!
I have not boarded with them yet but the quality of care is Top of the line for your furbaby. Our Bender got bit by a poisonous snake and they gave him top of the line care and supported all of us through till he was healed and home.
They extend credit through Carecredit or Scratch Pay. They do not offer in house payment plans.
