I adopted a 8 week old kitten Amulet (Brady) February 17th 2021 from New lease on life. Everything went great. I love the fact she does home visits to make sure animals are safe. More rescues and shelters should do the same. 2 weeks after I got Brady I found blood in her stool. It was 2 days after it would of been covered by the Vet at New lease. I took her to the Vet 3 times unfortunately she has irritable bowel. The Vet Put her on GI food and gave her probiotics to clear it up. I contacted Maria to get advice I was very worried about Brady. She was very caring and helpful. It’s not her fault animals get ill.. Then on Memorial Day 2022 I found 2 kittens and the mom under my porch. So happy, Maria told me about the foster program. I fostered them for a month until the kittens were old enough to go to the rescue. With the foster program you have to bring them there every 2 weeks. She made sure they were all dewormed, shots, and flea meds. I’m glad I went through the program. I found worms in their stool. If left untreated they will die. The mom kitty had ear mites the Revolution Maria put on cleared it up. I never had a problem anyone there. Every rescue isn’t Perfect. Animals are messy. When I was fostering 3 kitty’s I was cleaning up food and litter constantly. Rescues have to make sure all the animals are taken care of 1st then clean up the floor. When I was there all the animals had food and water. Maria has a lot of responsibility. She works very hard for the animals. She just needs more volunteers. For the people that’s bashing the rescue your only hurting the animals. You should go volunteer your time. Instead of just wasting time writing a bad review. (If you really care about them) That’s not going to help them at all. I would love to volunteer unfortunately I got to take care of my sick mom and My 8 yr old. Thanks Maria for your help and everything you do for the animals.

We love New Lease on Life. Maria is wonderful to deal with and is very knowledgeable on what seems to be everything animal related! We adopted our Lacey at the end of 2020 and we still go to back for our routine nail trimmings for both of our dogs as Maria is the only one who can do them without our older lab freaking out. We highly encourage you to check them out if you are in the market for a fur or feather baby!

First time dog owner, I was a bit nervous as I've read from the reviews New Lease can be a bit choosey on what families get what animals. Happy to say all that strictness just comes from genuine concern for their animals and since I expressed my willingness to learn I adopted my little Archie (formerly Dalek) and he's been a joy. Thanks so much guys!
