Small beach off road not very handicap friendly also grills need replaced lots of geese poop but my kids enjoy swimming here when it's really hot out does get busy so prepare to not get a picnic table and if your planing on cooking bring your own grill also it's outhouse style bathrooms

Beautiful location with scenic lake views and trails. Went camping there for labor day weekend, it was pretty crowded, but the campsites were nice. We were definitely glad we ended up with the non electric site as they did have more space. The only reason I choose 4 stars vs 5 was due to the bathrooms...they were horrendous! At least the one by our site was. They are "vault" toilets, so they are non flushing, but they are not well cleaned at all (could have been worse due to the crowds though). I went in another restroom further away from our site and it wasnt as bad, so it could have been a fluke. We would definitely go back and try a time that would be less crowded. It is a great lake for boating, kayaking, and fishing. To see the park and to catch a glimpse of the lake view trail be sure to watch "Reising Up" on YouTube. We will be posting the vlog of our trip soon!

This is a beautiful place to recharge your batteries. Everyone is friendly. The facilities are well kept. The lake is tranquil, great for kayaking, swimming and fishing.

Depends on if u want electric or not non electric is 19 a night and electric is around 30 a night
You can just go to swim and fish... They have a small beach and tons of good spots for fishing anytime
you can show up and sign in at the campground office
If you go to the beach there is an information board with where to rent items. I think you can rent for a minimum of two hours and a maximum of 24 hours.
No hot tubs. 1 cabin, more rustic than modern. Still nice get away. Lake Hope state park is nice to.
I've taken the BT through here, and while it's a short stint (and easy) there are some nice camp sites that you can access year round by backpacking in.
No WiFi that I'm aware of .... And some fire pits have the grills and some don't; it just depends on your site.
Not that I have seen yet. I've been to several parts of the park.
