I loved the professional courtesy and information provided by the PA. He truly spent the time and listened to my concerns. I really appreciate that! It is so, so hard to get authentic, quality medical care in Los Angeles. What I did not like is that when making the appointment, the office staff failed to advise or inform me that I would not be able to see the assigned doctor and I was not given a choice. I also did not like spending all the time on the phone to provide all my medical needs and then have to complete the same questions at the time of my appointment in written form and then the office staff asked me the same questions over and over again after I just completed the written summary. That's annoying and tells me they just didn't even care or take the time to know my medical needs. This is not the fault of the PA who attended to my ear problem. The office is beautiful and surprisingly clean from what I have experienced with Medi-cal referrals. Parking is a problem and they don't validate so be prepared to pay the surrounding lots. Overall, the medical care and office was great.

My mom has an upcoming appointment in June. As I'm reading some of the comments I may reconsider. I refuse to waist our time if the services are below standard. My mom is a new patient and I called to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately, I didn't have the best experience with the representative. I felt rushed and her demeanor was unprofessional.

I've had some weird things going on lately and I was referred to LA center for ENT/Allergy by my doctor. I've had a few different appointments with Stephanie, one of the PA's at the office and she has been the most attentive, kind, caring, and straight forward practitioners I have worked with while dealing with this issue. She has listened to me thoroughly, and respected my intelligence and perspective at every appointment. At no point did I ever feel like I was being talked down to or that she hadn't taken into account everything that I had said in the course of the appointment. Often doctors feel like they have a superiority complex, like their thoughts are the only educated considerations and they are the only ones in the room with relevant information. They can come across as unkind and aloof because of this. I have had to take many long roads in healthcare due to doctors failing to listen to me and delaying proper testing because of it. Often I have had to figure my issue out on my own (or switch doctors) resulting in my becoming a health practitioner myself. Stephanie called for the obvious and important testing immediately, she listened keenly and addressed my concerns. She didn't rush, and she was efficient and effective at communicating what there was to be said. She assured me of important things and because of her caring and respectful approach I will soon have my issue resolved with great peace of mind that nothing major was overlooked. I cannot even describe how great a weight that lifts off of my plate. When looking at setting your appointment with this office please don't overlook the PA's. Doctors are not the only people who have excellence in healthcare. I can certainly speak for that my appointments with Stephanie have been some of the better experiences I've had in a doctors office in the course of my life. Additionally, when I had my audiology testing done, the technician was really great. She made the process easy and almost fun. Her enthusiasm for ears and hearing was obvious and it was nice to have a test done by someone who clearly has a passion for it. Overall I have had a really good experience with the LA Center for Ear, Nose, Throat, and Allergy and I would be glad to return and work with Stephanie again in the future!

The quality of patient care was perfectly expressed by everyone at the Center. The specialist took time to carefully explain every process of the experience while I had my hearing tested, the explanations of options moving forward made me confident with the conclusion of the results. I felt valued a a human being!
