As a neighbor, there is always constant agonizing screaming from the patients at all times of the day/night, employees use very unruly language to communicate with each other, and alarms are constantly going off. It makes you wonder what these employees are doing to care for their patients.

The staff was great, but the longterm residents rule the place. They have the staff turning off the lights for new residents & turning their TV up loud to suit themselves with no regard for others. I would not advise anyone wanting to recover to stay at this facility. I would NOT recommend as my stay was 'torture'.

I personally know someone who currently resides at Western Convalescent Hospital and I can't say anything but great things about this place. The staff is great! They are very accommodating and the building truly feels like home for everyone living in it, even for those that have difficulting moving around. The place is clean and always smells wonderful, and I feel confident that my acquaintance and everyone in there are fully safe. Of all the hundreds of nursing homes in the LA area, I would recommend anyone looking for somewhere to live for themselves or their loved ones to check out Western Convalescent Hospitals.

Very nice and clean facility the staff are very friendly and nurses , every time I visit my grand father his happy and well taking care off . When it’s time for him to back home he really want to extend his stay at facility he enjoy rehab and he really improve his health. I highly recommended this facility .
