I ordered a POD to move from Michigan to Southern California. I wasn't told until the day my POD was delivered to the storage facility that I need to request access to the POD 48 business hours ahead of time. My POD was delivered on a Saturday (note: they didn't notify me it was delivered, I had to speak with a customer service representative to figure out it was delivered), so that means I need to wait until Wednesday to access my things. It is very frustrating that I was not told I have to request access so far ahead of time to my things - meanwhile, my family is living out of three suitcases. I appreciate not having to drive a U-Haul across the country, but I don't appreciate the extreme lack of communication from PODs. Also, this storage location only allows you to come to your POD between 8 am and 3 pm - so, when most folks have to work. Perfect.

Our move covered several states and PODS performed. We needed an additional small one and they delivered it, clean, in great shape and in a timely manner. All PODS were picked up and delivered to temperature controlled storage near our destination as agreed. The only hitch was one POD was moved 2 hours away without notice. They did bring it back to a different, nearby location. All of our items were just as we packed them with no damage. Great way to have your items moved, stored and delivered all in the same container. Expensive yet worthwhile.

Great experience all around! Our delivery driver, Alec, handled the stressful drop off with ease. He called an hour before, got the info he needed, and quickly navigated putting our POD in a parking spot minimizing the amount of time our neighbors had to wait to drive by. Guy deserves a raise!
