This is not my first time to visit Carmelite Monastery but this time I get to visit the monastery with my son's classroom students, St. Clare School 3rd grade class students and stuffs. The monastery is beautiful and quite.

Beautiful, historic and holy Carmelite Monastery. (In this location "in the country" when Santa Clara was in it's early days, long before Silicon Valley, and long before the destruction of the "agricultural breadbasket of the world" -- that once was the Santa Clara Valley.) You can step back in time here, walk these lovely grounds, pray and meditate...And perhaps find some solace in these busy times.

The gates close promptly at 4:20 pm unless there is an event
Mass is at 7:15 AM Monday - Saturday and at 10:30 AM on Sunday.
Sunday Mass st 10:30am. No organized retreats.
