This was my first time at Joe's crab shack and I hate to say it but it just wasn't that great. We ordered calamari for an appetizer and it was rubbery. The shrimp in the crab pot was super overcooked. Almost inedible. Probably never eating at a joes crab shack again.

Joe's Crab Shack has always been great, and although it's been 7 years since our last visit, quality is still right up there compared to our last visit. Highly recommend giving it a try if you want to indulge yourself with crab. Our server, 'Face' was amazing. Great guy, lots of laughs, and very attentive. He checked up on us several times after our food was brought to the table to make sure everything was good. He made this a very memorable trip to the restaurant.

Out dinner and experience at Joe's was really good. It was a busy Friday night, it took a few minutes to be seated because the host was cut and the other girls were busy with to go orders I think. We were seated and it took a few more minutes for our server to come over. After talking to her, she said she just quit her other job and was working 5 or 6 days a week. She had a good attitude but you could tell she was working hard and had a large section to take care of. Our food came out and it looked and tasted good. My wife had the cedar salmon and it looked great and she really enjoyed it. I had the shrimp plate, it was so good. I like the stuffed shrimp more than I expected. We will be back, maybe not on Friday night. Thanks Joe's.

Wait at least 1-2 hours outside for your table ... if that's what you are looking for? :)

Just call to make sure that you can get a table. Balloons and cacke are fine, I've seen a couple B-day parties here in the past

I did'nt try the crab, i had the Blackened Tilapia it was too burnt, but the Calimari with coctail sause was great. Enough for two.
If you are asking about the Joe's on Harbor Blvd, yes, it's still open. I was there last night.
