Coming from Rome and always loving and missing the peaceful atmosphere of our Catholic Churches, I was looking for just that! A Church where the music wasn’t overly loud and the lights overly bright. A place of worship where I can feel comfortable. The big screens could be a little distracting and I realized that I can stay focused by not sitting in the front rows. The length of the homily should not be a problem to anyone…. I never notice time goes by when I am there because I like to be there and I want to be there…. I bet many people don’t notice time passing by when they are having fun and in a place they want to be. What I miss the most, though, is the familiarity we had with the priests of my neighborhood, we could talk to them of our lives and our problems and they would listen and give you some guidance….these days reconciliation is rush, rush and giving a list of things done, they want you out of there as soon as possible because of the long line. But, we are on earth where, I guess, there aren’t enough priests and I take comfort in knowing that Jesus is not going to give me a list and a punishment as if I don’t matter…

St. Lorenzo is a lovely parish. Everyone I met made me feel welcome.

First visit. Impressive location. Clean well built ample parking and decorative inside and outside. The video and audio aids are well suited. Lovely back gardens and more stunning at night. Great place for wedding ceremonies ect.

Beautiful church. Went here this morning for daily mass. Had confession 15 minutes before which is really nice. Will definitely come back.
