We had the best time exploring this massive manor and gardens! Got there when it opened on a Friday in the summer and was happy it didn’t feel crowded. The detail of this house is gorgeous and the volunteers were all very friendly. I’ll be recommending this place for sure!

Wasn't sure what to expect as this was my sister's ask for the day. I was very surprise at how beautiful and interesting this house was. We spent several hours touring the house and beautiful gardens. A exquisite Tudor style home.

This is a beautiful mansion/castle. I did the self-guided tour. If you want to go up the tower you have to do the Crannies and Cook tour. It took me 2 hours to tour the entire place. The museum is kid friendly. My kids completed a scavenger hunt during the tour and received a free prize at the end (it’s free). You can’t carry in a backpack even it is a purse. There are a lot of antiques so they’ll make you leave your bag somewhere I’m not sure.

OMG! If u haven’t been here, u have to!😁 Great historical mansion, although I visited it in the end of the fall but it still was amazing! Marvelous! Gorgeous! The receptionist was lovely, explained the beat option for us! We saw a quick movie about the owner, amazing lifetime line ! Guides were at every corner, so we never felt lost, they were friendly and welcoming The mansion, the gardens, the stories…. Everything was breathtaking! What an amazing and loving family! Highly recommend! 😉🌹

The nooks & crannies tours are offered April-December, daily at 11:30am, 1:30pm & 3:30pm. The manor house opens on April 2, 2019.
Daffodils are in bloom but it's a little early for tulips.
Dec 30 is the last day they will be on view.
You can do both, but reservation is preferred as this place gets crowded
Seiberling Explorers is offered on many Wednesdays, including tomorrow, June 2 from 10:30-11:30 am. Come explore the gardens and grounds with us! No registration, and included in admission Included in a grounds admission: $12 adults 18+, $5 youth (6-17) and 5 & under free.
We are open for Deck the Hall on Dec. 28 from 5-8pm. On Dec. 29 and Dec. 30, Stan Hywet is open from 1-4pm for daytime tours and from 5-8 pm for Deck the Hall. Daytime tours are a separate admission from Deck the Hall and guests must complete their tour and exit before Deck the Hall begins.
