Good place for kid's activities. Plenty of shades. Playground, community pool just next to the park.

Lovely enclosed park that’s a neighborhood favorite. Playground is very popular. Lots of shade from beautiful old oaks. Has a big, serviceable athletic field, but check for sticks and other dog leftovers. Oh, has a public pool, too. Has off-leash hours but it’s common to see well-behaved dogs off leash any time. Bathrooms are rustic, my only real knock on the place.

For toddlers up to grade school the playground is fun and clean. A lot of dogs and their owners frequent this park and can be a real spectacle if their dogs don't get along. It's a well attended park and there's plenty of room for all who show up.
