If I could give zero stars, I would...On July 9, 2022, between the hours of 4:00 and 5:00 p.m., my significant other (S/O) and 12 y/o child decided to visit Lost In Time Toy Store. My S/O advised that he and my son were the only two people of color in the store, and upon entry, they were followed around the store by a Caucasian male cashier. My S/O overheard another customer come into the business offering to sell the store some merchandise. My S/O sells children’s toys himself, so he went to speak with the other customer regarding his merchandise. At which time, the Caucasian male cashier, followed my S/O outside to chastise him for inquiring about the other customer's merchandise. Upon re-entry into Lost In Time Toy Store, the Caucasian male cashier requested that my S/O and child leave the store FOR NO REASON at all. Lost In Time Toy Store racially profiled, discriminated against, and harassed my S/O and child and asked THEM to leave. I contacted Lost in Time Toy Store on July 10, 2022 at exactly 1:00 p.m., when the store opened. I made contact with the business owner and explained the situation, hoping that he would address the issue with his employee. Instead, he defended his employee and explained that he put my S/O and son out of the store because he was angry my S/O was inquiring about another customer's merchandise. That does NOT warrant being kicked out of a business. The owner subsequently tried to make this issue "go away" by patronizing us with a $100 gift card for use in his store. Why on earth would someone want to put money back into a business that kicked the individual out for no reason just one day prior? This is by no means a resolution. The cashier's actions need to be addressed rather than trying to throw money and merchandise at a problem to resolve it. I want to spread awareness regarding businesses that clearly do not welcome people of color, and instead discriminate against them.

The place is much bigger than I expected. It is packed with stuff. I figured there would be some old things and then a lot of pop new stuff but it is legitimately a huge collection of authentic vintage toys with enough new collectibles to cover a wide range of collection interests.

Love places like this. So nice to be able to go through the toys that were popular as I was growing up. I think the selection here is great although a little disorganized but tua5s the allure of these kinds of places because it feels like you are digging for treasure.

Passed by this store all the time, always curious and finally had a chance to come in. It is amazing. It take you back, it's a vintage Toys R Us, filled to the brim with toys, collectibles, comics and more. I loved it and plan on coming back from time to time. I was able to pick up the 1st Appearance of Beta Ray Bill and I couldnt be any happier. Truly worth your time if you are an avid collector and are into pop culture. A true gem of a place.
