Ledo Pizza

I have been a ledo's Pizza fan for probably 40 years. I remember the original ledo's in the Delphi Maryland. Had leonie's as their one big competitor, but Leone's could not keep up. At any rate, one thing you can count on at ledo's - it is the consistency of the food it's always good and it's pretty much the same from store to store for me that works just great.

Service is very poor but food is always good and tastes great but if you are looking for a welcoming or friendly staff look elsewhere.

Unfortunately no wait service at this location. Maryland style pizza that has close to 20 locations within Maryland. Pastry dough style pizza with provolone cheese in lieu of mozzarella cheese. Square pies only. Very different than classic style pizza. Sauce has that hint of sweetness without it being overbearing. Definitely gets a 7.9. The buffalo chicken pizza gets a 8.2. Definitely a must try for those who don't live in Maryland. Pizza Friday in Maryland for this out of towner was a hit.

The pizza is rectangular not the normal circular pie shape. It's hard to tell where they cut it and the cut it into really small squares (great for small kids annoying for us adults) the crust does not hold it's own meaning you will make a mess and end up using a fork and knife instead. (Its pizza! I should be able to use my hands and it not fall apart!) I got bacon added to mine and there was a choice from crispy or soft. I got crispy. There was a lot of bacon (no complaints) and it was large pieces not tiny little chopped up bits. I got here at 710pm on a Thursday. its empty with only 3 others. I got my pizza at 724pm so fast and good service.
