Yes it's harder now when the owners don't want to be bothered with having to keep up they units or houses under section 8 for inspection! Not to mention the ones who had section 8 and misused it for whatever reason! Smdh.. I'm looking for A HOUSE and since section 8 doesn't give you a list anymore I kno my challenge will be hard. Pray for me as I will be doing the same for you.
I have no desire to apply
Room benefits larger living floor plan
They dont but the local welfare office has listing for the pilot program
Yes what is it you need help with ? If I can be of assistance with info..
My owner accepts sec8 and there is not a credit check.. I'm located in Baldwin Hills Crenshaw area
Yes go to Google and type in Hawthorne section 8 apartments
You can appy online
Call Hawthorne housing
Are Craigslist
Aww wow that crazy I wouldn't deal with them it's different section 8 offices Hawthorne section 8 is low with their amounts so if I was both of u I'll go through the la city or la county u can go online and apply for all different offices
Maybe if you have a nice sec 8 worker.. Remember they only give you 60days to find a spot! Plus you're talking about 2017 and we're in 2019.. I don't see them extending it that long and you STILL in the convalescent home too. Who kno's every case is different and sad to say maybe luck was on your side IF you still have your sec8 voucher because in the real world you would've LOST your sec8 voucher and to repeat the whole process of WAITING to get called off the list is a hell of a wait!
Some do...
You can be disabled or low income or homeless all 3 qualifies you for sec8
