Our four-year-old had NEVER been skating in her life and she loved it! The other skaters were not too fast and considerate of our little one scooting along. The Wednesday night $5&$5 Admission and Rental also made this a nice, cheap night out.

Went for Tot Time (up to 6 years old) today and it was a lot of fun. You're allowed to bring your own bikes and scooters to the facility. Each person during Tot Time is $6 and each person also gets a free small drink coupon. The workers are super sweet and the facility was clean. Bathrooms have small but sufficient doors, there's also a family bathroom. Wish there were hooks inside the bathroom to place coats and backpacks. We got some pizza for $3/slice.

Attended a birthday party here on a Friday evening. Although we overall all had fun, service was pretty decent, enjoyable games to play with a variety of prizes to select from with cashing in ticket winnings off gaming card, some staff members were friendly & actively helpful, but safety for beginners especially younger kiddos was poor that we experienced with a party of mixed levels of skaters. Children especially 8 years of age were bumped/knocked down by more experienced or speedy skaters. Sadly when I didn't have skates on I actually had to call the attention of a staff member to help out a small child who fell & was having difficulty getting back up. Now that staff member had skates on just a few feet away from the fallen child but his back was turned away since he was talking/laughing with some girls outside the skating area. SMH Since I've been here a couple of times my rating is 4 stars for this Skate Zone. I'll try to go again another time possibly on a less busy time to see if it's any betteror improved.

You’ll feel the vibe to skate as soon as you walk through the door. This rink knows how to make skating fun. Their staff is friendly and very accommodating. Take a skate lesson if you want to really learn how to skate. They play the best music that makes you want to move on skates. You’ll find very tasty food in their cafe. They also have a game room and redemption counter. Be sure to take the entire family and make it quality time for everyone.

From my experience you don't need to reserve a table just get there early enough to commandeer one. 😉

I see that lessons are given on Sat. How can one learn to skate with only 30 minutes of instruction?

I think the basics can probably be achieved in 30 minutes. The rest is practice practice practice.

Can you use anything else besides rollerskates on the rink? I think a long time ago I went n kids were using tricycles and scooters on the rink. But maybe it was a special event i can’t remember. Also, can parents walk on the rink with just shoes?

Elizabeth Wheeler | Feb 25, 2021

The only time we allow the scooters and trikes is during private parties or during Tot Rock-n-Roll or Summer Sprouts. We are only doing Tot Rock-n-Roll once a month right now, due to very low interest, but we will have Summer Sprouts every Monday in the summer. Check our website for updates! And yes, parents can walk on the floor with their shoes.
