Pretty neat joint with books + delicious food. Their Dining area is a bit small which is why we made a reservation in advance just for them to still make us wait about 30-40 for a table, their reservation system is very pointless. The wait staff were super tentative and on point when it came to our refills and overall food satisfaction. I was able to try their sweet potato hash which I feel was a bit too small of a portion, nonetheless it was very delicious! French toast are a 10/10 recommend so soft but also crunchy. Definitely would love to try this place out again if I’m ever in the area.

Great fooodd amazing drinks ! The bloody Mary was so good that we ordered one too many. Definitely recommend trying the bloody Mary. The cauliflower wings were amazing and a must try as well. The hummus was okay.

Prior to our visit, we had to leave another B&P location because no one got to our table in less than 12 mins. We left and came straight to this one and the difference was obvious. A minute after being sat, we were greeted by our waiter (Dee) with a smile, waters and etc. Our food and beverages was brought to us all in great timing and presentation was on point. Even during our service there were other staff that checked in on us and made sure we were well taken care off. You can tell that this Takoma location really devote their time to give stellar service to customers and I’m sure that come from management on down. We don’t know why we tried the other location because we come here a lot. It’s just great to know that every time, we’re here, it’s always a good experience. Thank you again and we will be back!

Complete compliance. Everyone inside of the restaurant wore mask, tables properly spaced, and the chairs at the tables were properly spaced. Of course, we all had our own bottles of hand sanitizer, but a bottle was displayed for public use. Serving staff maintained safe distancing, allowing for an added level of comfort.
Yup! Nice kid's section on the far side of the bar and a decent adult section in between the bar and dining room.
Yes. They do.
No, but on the day of you can try to add yourself to the Yelp Waitlist for outdoor seating.
That can't be a policy at any establishment.... then again we are in trump's America. Anything is possible.
No, due to the fact that they are very busy during brunch, and are focused on providing excellent customer service to the guests on site.
I found parking near the metro station. It was free in the evening but I think the hourly charge was like $2-$4 for street parking. There are few anwers regarding parking for this location hope they help.
