This program have given me an opportunity to come out of being homeless, living in my truck for many months and trying to keep my job at the same time is very hard and stressful on a person's health and mental status, I'm very grateful to be given an opportunity to come out of living in my truck to living back into an apartment where I can start my life with the positive and blessed spirit.. I am not yet in an apartment but I am doing a lot of research on vacancies through property Management, but other than all that, I hope all works out.

They move fast, very helpful very thankful for them

Not guaranteed to find you stable housing, you're required to do three months of attending classes to even graduate, and the only resources they provide aren't always guaranteed to help. Oh, and as for your DCFS case, you're better off trying to do it on your own.

Very long process. They've no cares about the handicap people. They quick to send you to s shelter n not equipped for the disabled. I think they can do better with the way they treat's people in general. U got to have a little humbleness when you're dealing with people that really need the helped.

Yeah they have two part you check in on Broadway and they will transfer you to the other part, but you need to get a case manager some where else. To work with them. Just ask for what you need.
They have something called Project Room Key going on right now. Ask a case manager about it if you have one.
Yes there is an every city every county if you Google it that should have a homeless crisis. you Google and call and get the number there's a place that's outreach in case workers with a couple of different programs North of LA. The title to that one in Beverly and Parkview is homeless healthcare center. people concern is Downtown LA on skid row 5th Street, outreach crisis caseworker South la on Broadway and slauson hopic, Path Vermont Beverly. St. Joseph. Every little city every county has an outrage caseworkers crisis help area.
Dpss does not do I'd voucher anymore.. you have to get it on your own. But you can get with HOPICS and use their address to get ur mail. But get with hopics first ok. Good luck PS . DPS dont do. Vochhers anymore
Try hopics on Broadway and 57th they get your shelter away from skid row if you're interested they help me out I'm right here at this place called testimonial love center and slauson and Western it's okay it's pretty good actually
You can either send her to Hopic's on Crocker or the one on San pedro st or its one on Broadway st all in Los Angeles she will get some help there best to get there early
Lucas Rescue home
She should go down there in the morning, So She won't have to wait long
You have to go up there they are open are keep calling
A out reach team, go into a physical office. You have to meet the qualifications.
Call 211 info they will help u
I have no idea, never been there!
They will put u in a motel and u will have to get ur self in a apt or a house all they do put u up in a motel thats all?
Huh??
They using help when you csm help your self which makes no sense for example they want you to have your own$ and theyll help with a bit and even then it might take a run around but you can try. Best advice line up by 7:30am so your first in line for assistance. Its first come first serve basis.
Do you happen to be a veteran? Either way go to 5715 S. Broadway that is the Access Center. Explain your situation and they will guide you from their. I believe they have a shared home that will be for 60+ opening soon. So if you can go Monday morning do for 730am as they do 20 intakes in the mornings first come first served and another 20 after lunch. Tell them where you are homeless and they will route an outreach team to you.
Crocker and Slauson
They have many services for low income households. After you register you can ask for whatever services u need
H.O.P.I.C.S. does aid in rental assistance as well as move in costs. You'd have to be at hopics at 7-7:30a to apply. Open at 8a & there is usually a line + wait time. If your family is in need of emergency housing they can also assist with placement into temporary housing (usually same day, especially with children). If there are children in the home, you would go to: 5849 Crocker St, Los Angeles, CA 90003 Adults: 5715 S Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90037 Dont waste time calling, just go directly to the office asap.
Try St Joseph or Hopics or 211
Yes they do help with security deposits
Yes, they do on Broadway. Just with that they are not allowed all programs
If you are a single individual go to 5717 S Broadway, Los Angeles. All you need is your ID to start. When you get there state you are there for the Access Center.
Not sure because my result with was very poor n they're difficult to even returned your phone call whenever i would leave them a voice message. I think your best answer would be if u can go down to the office and asked them your questions. My apology for not able to assist you in any manner. God bless
Call the family solution center on Crocker street
If they feel uncomfortable we can make arrangements for a private intake please go in tomorrow and seek services
Call me chassidy I a property manager
But if you have a kid then they will put u in a safe park untill they put u in a motel for 4 mo

I am 24 years old and currently homeless. I have been to Hopics several times and I am still homeless. I was promised housing by Victor but I am still homeless. I don't have any children it's just me.
