Not really a lot of people on a miday Wednesday. Pick a spot close to the river or the hot spring according to the temperature you would like.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon in January. Snively Hot Springs empties into a quick moving area of the river. Numerous rock pools made with river rocks. There is parking for I imagine 12 to 20 cars. It's more popular than I expected. When we arrived about an hour before closing at sundown, I counted 25 or more bathers in the various pools! It was about 1.3 hours from west Boise. An enjoyable drive, but use a direction app if you haven't been there at least once.

Beautiful and peaceful. Make sure you move the water around you a little bit with your hands while you sit - that way the hot water on the surface mixes with the cold water underneath!

Yes it would be alittle hard with a cane but you could always give it a try you just never know....😉

It is great during the winter not fun for the few seconds going from the water to your car. But on a clear night the stars are amazing.

Do you need to register to visit the hot springs and does it cost to park.

It's free to park, right off the road down next to the river. It's a natural hot spring and you don't need to register to visit.

Does anybody know if it’s still closed and or the rocks are messed up? Thanks in advance 😊

We were there about 2 weeks ago and the river was still waaaay too high to soak. The pools we're still intact, just covered in chilly river water.
