Beautiful hike in the Oregon Dunes. Trail goes toward the coast. Would be a nice backpack if you are able to camp on the beach. Blue blazes mark the way.

Such a great hike! Only saw a couple other people on the trail and had the beach completely to ourselves.

Awesome San dune experience. Park your car at the trailhead and hike the short half mile trail in a forest setting to reach the Dunes. Our whole family love it

The trailhead and parking lot entrance are just South of the Eel Creek Campground entrance. GET YOUR DAILY PASS AT THE EEL CAMPGROUND ENTRANCE FIRST. There is no pay station at the trailhead lot. Wonderful trail with lots of forest flora to enjoy. The trail is shady and cool, and well groomed but not paved. You can take the loop or when you reach the dunes, head to the ocean.

No loop. 6 miles round trip. Most of it will be on sand so it might take longer depending on how well you walk on loose sand.
