One of the greatest, I went not so long ago I’m an Adolescent but they really do treat you with care! The food was amazing and the people and privileges are beyond other hospitals. The only thing I didn’t like was the psychiatrist, he speed runs all sessions and doesn’t give you the chance to ask questions, but the nurses make you feel safe and do their best to comfort and laugh with you. It would get a bit cold at night but they provide you with 3 meals a day and 2 snacks and even the desert was delicious! If I ever go back to a hospital again(which I hope doesn’t happen) I don’t want to go to any other one besides this one

This place is an interesting mix of very kind and helpful individuals as well as some of the most frustrating avenues of communication I’ve ever had the displeasure of experiencing. The nurses and reception staff were nice and helpful in providing context and getting patient answers, but the accuracy of the answers is another thing. For example, one nurse told us one thing about a release of information whereas another would directly contradict that information the following day. And it was IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of the doctor - you’re only able to leave messages to be passed along. If your patient requires a translator, ensure that you follow up with this as it didn’t seem like it was their highest priority, which seems like a huge liability when it comes to evaluations. The tipping point was speaking with their medical records department - so much attitude in the less than one minute of speaking for simple questions regarding the status of the requested records. This was the only rude encounter I’ve had with the staff there but it was easily the most unpleasant interaction. We were told that we were unable to pick up the records in person because it was not on the request form (which didn’t have it as an option) despite being told earlier that pickup was an available option. Roxy, the case manager, was lovely though. Extremely helpful and followed through with everything in a timely manner. Final notes - be careful in vetting the information you receive very carefully. Go above your due diligence in patient advocacy to ensure your loved ones are taken care of.

My family member was a patient here for 2 weeks. I cannot say how thankful I am to all of the staff. My loved one entered very much in need of treatment for stabilization and he left ready for his next level of care. Trust them to do their job, and they will do a great one. This is not an easy specialty- it is very draining, so for this establishment to be such a team, I am very grateful for them! Shelby was our case manager and communicated so well with us and assisted and supported my family member's discharge planning. Nurse Jordyn and Dr. Balcos were wonderful as well, and so was Roxy, the case manager supervisor. I would highly recommend them for treatment services.

This place actually deserves 0 stars and I feel the media needs to go do an investigation, my son who is a minor is in there care now and I have made several calls to express my feelings and not 1 call from the doctor has been received only an extremely condescending nurse. Someone more when I called today as a matter of fact I was placed on hold which wasn't actually a hold he put the phone down and I can still hear the conversation he was having with a fellow employee they refer to the patients as oh that one that one with zero care zero concern in their voices. This place and unfortunately others are more of a hazard than a health this needs to be investigated.

Hi Dene, Absolutely! My son was recently diagnosed with adhd and started his adhd meds there at the hospital.
Yes
When my daughter was there a few months ago back in May when I went to go visit her there she told me that there was about four or five children and age ranges between 4 and 9 years old so there is definitely younger children than teens and adults
They have payphones but do not need money to use them. The staff can dial the number and then transfer the call to the payphones. Also the phones are available from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. The times they aren't allowed to use the phones are during group times also. If it's a group therapy time then the phones are shut off.
Call them directly. It's a 24 hour facility.
Every day 6pm -7:30pm
