Gettings Creek Rest Area - Northbound

This rest area was convenient, clean, and offered a welcomed break from the highway driving. I like the grassy area for walking and stretching my legs.

Always busy, but a good stop to use the restrooms. There were too many dogs on and off leash, so we stopped elsewhere to let our pups potty. Little creepy and alot of truckers stopped.

It's a really nice place, clean most of the time great trees and a great place to walk your dog or have a bite to eat if you're on the road. I have stage 4 cancer and I get my treatment in Eugene and live in Sutherlin so I stopped at all the rest of it is quite often because of some of you know when you get your chemo usually have to go to the restroom a lot it's nice to have these great places to stop on the way home. The only drawback is this sometimes people panhandling for money, I tried to give food they don't want food they want money so that gets old but other than that they are beautiful rest areas and I'm grateful to have them.

It was a bit too crowded to have one of the two bathrooms closed. Otherwise everything else was nice and comfortable with lots of shaded tables and pet areas.
