Had a fantastic weekend. Sites are great, many on the river

Very primitive for a pay campsite. Absolutely zero phone or wifi service. I drove all around and couldn't find any service. It's difficult to get back on the highway when leaving because traffic is heavy and pulling out took a long time to get a break in traffic. The water n river was nice but definitely a day use park not an overnight if you need phone or wifi or a level spot to park an RV.

Decent campground. Not the cleanest. Bathrooms were super stinky. Site was good nice trail to Salt Creek. Not much for swimming.

I was just curious, you claimed that there was no longer a blue pool, someone else commented that one hasn't been there for a decade. There are YouTube videos of people hiking to it 11 months ago.?

I didn't post about the blue pool, but I can off that might be a different blue pool. Tamolich Blue Pool is on the Mckenzie River and is a very popular attraction. Close a number of beautiful places. That might be the confusion.

Planning on arriving on a Sunday late in Aug. Will we have trouble getting a site?

Well it's hard to say considering every trail is different and it's in the forest next to a creek could be all kinds of thing's considered to be " dangers"
