My husband and I took our adult son and 2 year old grandson to the Rainbow Trout Farm this week. We can’t say enough good things about it!! It is a pristine farm with lots of well-stocked trout ponds, beautifully (but natural) maintained grounds, very helpful and friendly owners, very reasonable pricing, and clean facilities. It has ample benches by the ponds for older people (grandparents) to sit and watch the fishing or to take a snack break. Our only regret was that, while our grandson loves to cast and reel in the fish, he wanted nothing to do with it once he saw the large flopping fish and wanted to leave 😂. We will definitely be back again once he gets a little older.

If I right a review you must know it’s good, I am a very judgmental and OCD type of person and I don’t miss any detail and this place made sure everything was on point. The facilities where great and cater to any type of family size, the venue is well looked after and the scenery is just so beautiful and peaceful, and the most important part is do you catch fish? and the answer is of course you do and they have nice sizes too. They can take my money anytime.

That was amazing day. First time fishing for a trout. I was able to catch 3 big ones in pond 6 for a less than hour. I was with my mom, she enjoyed so much. Happy to change hiking activity to fishing. Great farm, great owner. Thank you so much! We will come back from Seattle.

Super fun fishing experience for kids! This was the first time we took our 3yr old fishing. The whole experience was new to him so this was a very safe and controlled environment to introduce him to it! They gave us a bucket to put the fish in, net, couple of poles and a cup of worms. There are 5 ponds available to fish in. Given his age and size, we elected to fish in the smaller size ponds (ponds 2 and 3). It did not take long at all and we had 2 fish (11in and 12in)! The kids were so excited! After they caught them, the staff cleaned them for us and put them on ice, in a bag for us to take home. Overall, a great place for kids!!

No they don't charge for bait and poles
Hi Charles. Thanks for reaching out! We have 4 ponds that are accessible; Pond 1, Pond 4, Pond 5, and Pond 6 (small gravel path), The Rainbow Trout Farm is for everyone!
I’m sorry, no pets are allowed.
Thank you for your question. Yes, you are welcome to use your own gear as long as your hooks are barbed hooks.
Makes sense to me. Not a good time for fishing there, i Would think!
I don't believe so, I was just there on Sunday, and saw the staff supplying fishing rods and nets to kids below 18.
Parking is free, but the fish you catch will cost you. Prices are very fair.
Prices are based on the length of the fish you catch and are clearly posted both on site and online. Note you can not catch and release. Considering they provide the gear, bait, and clean/bag the fish for you (plus adults don't need a fishing license there) it is a reasonable price in my opinion. It is also a beautiful environment to go fishing. Our family had a great time.
