Not too impressed. Challenging layout and decent fairways. Greens are in great shape but for $135, a 5hr round, no beverage cart, and ancient carts, not worth that. Okay here only if you have some sort of deal.

Please, please and please remove all the dead and unsightly debris from the acacia plants cuttings along the fourth fairway along the bottom of the slope below the Talega Gallery homes that border that area. This dead plant cuttings are a very serious fire hazard because of that windy canyon not to mention the bad views from the homes above. Please take care of that dangerous mess.

Very poor upkeep making a great course look average. In addition, they let this happen: No starter, no course marshals, and a group of 12 regulars doing this every Sunday apparently. Fantastic way to ruin a lot of people’s day. We finished 14 holes in 4 hours

Nice 18 hole course, hidden in the Talega community of San Clemente. Front 9 are challenging the back 9 only get worse. Club house has a kitchen and a full bar. Great place to relax after playing 18 holes. Greens could use a little more TLC.
