Stopped here on our way home from a camping trip and it was fantastic. The beer was excellent, the pizza was fabulous and the staff were stellar. They were very busy and were working very hard to keep up with the customer load. They were all very kind, helpful and answered all of our questions patiently and did not make us feel hurried even though there was a long line behind us. We will definitely make a trip to The Dalles to visit this brewery again !

Muleskinner Stout is an absolutely fabulous dark beer. Smooth without any bitterness. Nice kick at 6.5% but doesn't knock your .... in the dirt. The pretzel bites are scrump-dilly. Staff is top notch. Decor is old time casual with you walking past the vats to the warm and welcoming interior.
