Ashley went above and beyond, last Saturday. My wife is very allergic to almonds and before ordering dessert, we asked if any contained almonds. Ashley advised us and we ordered our selections. However, she then took the initiative to investigate every dessert to double check, in the interest of my wife’s safety. Interestingly, she found many others to also contain almonds; a fact unknown to every server, apparently. I cannot begin to express our appreciation for her diligence. Please recognize her outstanding representation of your restaurant. She is to be applauded for the passion she exhibits to take care of customers like ourselves. Her actions were, potentially, life saving. Thank you.

Stayed at the hotel for a couple nights on business. This bar/restaurant has been the most welcoming and friendly staff. Octavian was the absolute best bartender. He remembered every guest that came into the bar/restaurant. That means a lot in customer service.

Surprisingly delicious for a hotel restaurant. My omelette was delightful and my side of fruit was fresh and perfectly ripened. My roasted potatoes were nicely seasoned and our server was friendly and efficient. Our coffee was there within a minute of sitting down. Prices are reasonable and the space is nice. I'd happily go back.

I went to Gray's a couple of years ago for Thanksgiving and had a very enjoyable meal. This time, that was not the case. I'll put it to you this way. I've had better Thanksgiving dinners in the hospital! The only palatable part of the meal was the mashed potatoes. New potatoes with the Skins, not my favorite, and it seemed to have been whipped into a gelatinous, salty blob. Like I said, the only thing palatable on the plate. The turkey was dry as a bootheel and covered with this funny sour gravy made with cheap wine. Oh, and did I mention it was all kind of cold. The real train wreck what is the dressing. Somebody had the bright idea of making dressing out of extra sourdough artisan bread. You know, the kind you can chip your teeth on. Well, you could almost chip your teeth on this dressing. Being made from sourdough, the dressing tasted like somebody spilled a bucket of vinegar into the dressing before they served it. Absolutely hideous. To top things off , we ordered the pecan pie. Frozen food service style you might expect to get at Denny's or some off-beat cafeteria at a steel factory. What I did eat had so much salt my feet blew up like ballons!! I just can't believe I spent any money to find out how bad this was. Needless to say I sent it all back and paid for our drinks and left. I think I'll think twice before going back. It's a nice option if you're not having family over but not if it's going to be this bad. All the other restaurants were closed. I went home and ate a much tastier CAN of chili.
