Love this place. Summer concerts in the park, nice walking/jogging trail, workout equipment, tennis, basketball, baseball courts even space for some futbol, volleyball.. you name it if you have the imagination. It's a park I don't want to miss, i hope that makes sense.

Great walking trail. Super easy and relaxed. The trees are incredible. Tennis courts r usable but need better care.

No, you can just use any empty court. Ignore the signs with rules on amount of balls and playtime the surveying park workers don't mind they won't say anything.
I just go there to walk the track everyday... I don't hav lil ones anymore..all grown up

It's usually FC,FS bit according to the city's websit (https://www.downeyca.org/our-city/departments/parks-recreation/parks-facilities/-selcat-8/-selamenityid-5) you can reserve. BUT, most parks in Downey, including Furman park are closed for renovations intil sometime next year (2020) in the Fall.
