!!!!NEVER!!!NEVER!!!NEVER!!! Ever delivering animals to this place!!! They only care about the donations not the animals. That's why they won't allow any visit or provide any following up informations. Even the animal control does! When we arrived there, there was a board outside said their space is limited and suggested not bring animals in. And right besides that board, there was a delivered animal inside a box just in front of their office dehydrated and barely survived, but no one come to take care of it. When we questioned their processing system, they turned to be very rude imidietly, the director refused to show up and hang up the phone right away. Delivering the animal to those kind of facility could be one I live to regret. I cried a lot ever since but they refused to give it back

I'm so thankful for the Wetlands and Wildlife Rescue. We found a couple ducklings wandering on Crown Valley Pkwy with a crow flying hungrily overhead. We were able to rescue them and bring them in to Wetlands to be raised safely for release back in the wild later. Here's a picture of the adorable ducklings while they stayed warm & safe with our young tortoise until we could deliver them to the Rescue.

People there were very polite. I found this little opossum baby on my drive way when I was parking... Almost ran over it. Stayed with the poor baby the whole night until I was able to bring it over to this place at 8 am on a Saturday. They took the baby in and said he/she was alright and should make it. I was so happy with the great work they do there. Also, the place has lots os parking lots. Thanks for your wonderful work.

We had to rescue an abandoned baby opossum and we took it to them. It can't be bigger than your hand.
Yeah it's better if u do they take care of it good
Wetlands does a good job excellent digital x-ray department with very skilled technicians
They rehabilitate and release. They also give medical attention to injured animals including birds.
Yes! I brought 2 orphaned ducklings a month ago and they're very helpful
Keep your duck
Call the center and they will advise. They may have you call the OC animal rescue.
The center does take hummingbirds. The center is open until 5pm every day.
If you still have the baby, bring it on in tomorrow (Monday) during business hours
I would call them and ask.
They do!
I called them and they said to bring my found bird down and they would take care of itt.
They told me they would nurse back to better health and then release him. I hope that answers your question.
Google their website, they have a list of animals that you can bring in. I looked it up once, but can't remember.
I do not believe so. It is not open to the public. You may drop off blankets and flat sheets (desperately needed for the influx of 900 new ducklings).
Oc animal shelter used to take chickens in the past. I'm not sure about now.
I would expect this is the case. The reason we bring these wild animals to this center is to rely on their expertise. As to the reality of such a policy I have no idea.
Mice aren't on the list below, but I'd still call ahead and ask since they might not take mice if they won't take rats. They'll at least let you know what you should do! Here is a list of animals that our center will NOT accept: (However if you call ahead we will direct you to a facility that can assist you) -Bats -Skunks -European Starlings -Pigeons -American Crow -Ravens -Barnyard Animals (livestock/chickens) -House Sparrows -Domestic Rabbits -Domestic Ducks -Dogs/Cats -Adult Coyotes -Red eared sliders(non-native turtles) -Rats
Call Wetlands dept. 17143745587 to verify what kind of Wildlife birds they accept, it depends...
