Units have some major construction flaws, heres a couple you'll want to know about: - Closet isn't deep enough to hold a full width hanger. (I know... how is this even possible) - Light switch sensor in rest room is set to a couple minutes, so when the shower curtain is closed during a shower, the lights will often turn off. - We had a window that leaked, because sides of windows were not sealed correctly. About 6 months into my lease, the complex was bought and began being managed by "vertus properties inc". The are still the managing this complex. After moving out; A mandatory 300$ charge for cleaning is deduced from security deposit, regardless of the state of cleanliness of apartment. (completely illegal as per California Code, Civil Code - CIV § 1950.5.b.3). Seems like there is no possible way to get your full security deposit back. When getting back break down of security deposit deductions I wasn't given an itemized receipt of deductions, just statements of what was done and price, no receipt of repairs required by law. Meaning they could have charged whatever they wanted from my security deposit and did in fact attempted to do this. Worst of all, on my security deposit deductions, there was more than 1000$ discrepancy between what they said my deposit was vs what my lease states. Administrator at Access looked up my lease in front of me and acknowledged the issue, "but can't do anything about it" because she just sends the notices... I was told to contact Vertus accounting whom responsible for this. After multiple attempts during business hours I have still been unable to talk to a human on the phone there. Moral of the story, apartments are OK, but definitely not worth current rent being charged. Most importantly, the company managing this complex (Vertus Properties, Inc.) is very unorganized and you are better off not having to deal with them and get scammed.

I have had a bad experience & unprofessional staff my first, not even 30 days here. I signed my lease 3/27/21 & have reached out to management regarding why my move in & deposit cashiers check has not been credited to my rent account. & a balance of $709 that is not mine. I have called the office, left voicemails , sent emails, called to get a status on this issue. & I’ve only received a “I did reach out to my manager she’s looking into it”. This was a few weeks ago. This is all over the course of end of March 2021 into first wk in April & to today. & I received a notice on my door that I owe $709 last week & what the reason is I cannot pay my rent. I should have never received this notice. I still have not received any further response or correction to my account at this location. How can someone live comfortably in a place like this that you’re supposed to call & make “home”. I’ve only asked to please look into this and fix what errors were made by the management office here with my account & to credit my account the check total of $657 ($257 prorated rent +$500 deposit - hold fee of $100= $657.00 total) that was requested from me in writing (lease contract & welcome letter)+(April 2021 free month). Lease signed & all was reviewed & check taken from me on 3/27/2021.

This place is an absolute SCAM! Don't expect to have any access to the amenities any time soon. I rented here for a year and never once got to use a single amenity they advertised. Management will find any excuse as to why the construction hasn't been started. Permits, COVID, anything. You can find a much nicer place for the price they are charging. On top of the amenity issue, management is incredibly picky about the outside appearance. If you want an umbrella, it has to be one of their approved colors. And don't you dare put anything festive on your front railing or you will get a written notice. Absolutely insane. Run far, far away from this place.

We are a short 1.5 miles, less than 5 minutes, from the Rohnert Park Smart Train station. Great for the commuter!
