Stag's Leap Wine Cellars

Stag's Leap was wonderful! From the staff, to the grounds, to the wine... Everything adds to the experience in a positive way here. We had called ahead to see if they could take us as a walk in. I spoke with Isabella and she told us so long as we arrived by 3pm, they could accommodate us. Unfortunately I forgot to make my husband aware of the spelling difference and we ended up at Stags' Leap. This caused us to show up at 3:15, and I was resigned to the fact that they would be unable to take us. Isabella greeted us upon check in and was able to find us a table and still take us (I was pleasantly surprised and so grateful for this). A true mark of their excellent customer service. Justin walked us through our tasting. He was so informative and was even able to explain the differences between the wines in the tasting and the wines that are more readily available in retail. As someone who pours and sells wine (including Stag's Leap wines) this was incredibly valuable. The entire flight was delicious. I will definitely be recommending them to all of my clients. We will definitely be back!

My favorite winery to visit. It has a historical aspect by winning the reds Judgement in Paris in 1976 and by far the best wines in there tasting 1-4. My brother in law became a wine club member for a few years. Must go to.

Had such a wonderful experience here at Stag's Leap. I had planned out my brother's proposal as he wanted to do it at a winery in Napa and my family lives here in Napa. I was able to give Stag's Leap a call, explaining the situation and the staff was able to take the idea and turn it into a reality. We were able to incorporate the beautiful cave tour where he proposed right as the tour ended in front of the beautiful cellar doors and the staff had already arranged for my family to be waiting in the tasting area to celebrate. They had also arranged for pictures to be taken by their breathtaking pond as it served as the perfect background. The staff took great care of us as we stayed for a few hours after to celebrate the perfect day. Our host, Mark, was the icing on the cake as he was so seamless with his ability to keep us on schedule yet allowed us to relax and not feel rushed. He made sure to add his insight on the amazing wines as well as add some humor to the tasting which made sure to keep the tasting fun and light. We really loved the day and appreciate the staff for accommodating us and making the day so perfect!

This is a legendary winery with 50 years of tradition in high-end winemaking. We enjoyed our tasting, our tasting guide was very knowledgeable, let us try pretty much everything they make, and really helped us feel the connection between the terroir and the wine in the glass, as both were right in our eyeline. This was our very favorite tasting experience in Napa.
