Delicious, beautiful, and costly. Read on... Pros -- the wines were all delicious, truly, the winemaker(s) should be proud; the facility is beautiful and I appreciate all the thought that went into its environmentally friendly design. Cons -- while delicious, their wines are seriously overpriced; throughout our wine trip we tasted equally good (if not better) wines at literally half the price; one of the couples we were tasting with bought over $500 worth of wine but were still charged $100 for their tasting (note: it's common to waive the tasting fee, especially at that level of purchase) and the cost to ship their wine home was roughly 30% more expensive than other wineries (note: shippers charge by weight, not reputation). All of this strongly suggests they're still paying off the construction loans for that beautiful facility and alienating all but the wealthiest wine enthusiasts in the process. Which is a shame, because I really enjoyed their wine.

Beautiful setting and winery !! The staff even better....very friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the winery as it is one of the best around the area !! Wines were fine but not my favorite except for the Napa Cab. Thank you Silver Oak for a wonderful experience

Great experience. Unbelievable setting and facilities. Great wines and an incredibly friendly and gracious staff. We did the vertical tasting 2017 down to 2012. Fantastic place to visit.

This was by far the largest winery and vineyard I visited on my Napa Valley/Alexander Valley excursion. The architecture in both the sampling center and actual winery was very impressive. The view of the vineyard as the sun came up was nothing short of breathtaking! The staff was helpful and kind too. The drive up from Napa Valley was beautiful and a definite plus to the trip up! I’d definitely recommend a tour of this giant winery on your next visit to Alexander Valley if you’re in the area!
